Self-care is not bubble baths on a schedule. It is noticing what you need and actually giving it to yourself. These journal prompts for self-care help you check in across body, mind, and relationships, and build a routine that fits your real life.

How to use these prompts

  • •Use the check-in section daily for a week to learn what your needs look like.
  • •Pick one prompt from the planning section every Sunday to design a caring week.
  • •Turn at least one answer into an actual action within 24 hours.

Tips that make it stick

  • •Self-care should fit your life, not add pressure. If a routine feels like another chore, simplify it.
  • •Start each check-in by naming how you feel, as specifically as you can. 'Drained' needs rest, while 'restless' might need movement.
  • •Notice the difference between soothing yourself and avoiding something. Both have a place, but they are not the same.
